a link to explanation of trap doors would be helpfull :)

all i know is, if you fall through trap door, monsters get harder.
Anything else?

The drops are better quality -- not by an immense factor, but a slight increase

Whenever a group takes a TD, the objectives are reset to the lowest 3 objectives that need to be completed

Yes and no. If playing solo, you will notice less of a difference due to the fact that when solo, mobs all tend to spawn around your level. However, when you're in a group (of at least 2), this is not the case, and most monsters will spawn under your level, netting less overall experience. Falling through a trapdoor will raise the overall monster level, thus giving better experience.

Drops - possible drop level increased due to higher level monsters. Quality increase? I kind of doubt it, but suppose it's a possibility. :P

Exp - increase is slight, but noticeable if you pay close attention. (group or solo)

Diifficulty - regular mobs are only slightly tougher (more noticeable in a low-end or low level group). Most important thing for an HC player is that EPs can become quite dangerous when in a TD depending on the group's level and the overall quality/balance of the group.

Experienced is increased, but a cap is present, and most of the time you are already at that cap

I had read when 1.20 came out, Paul said, falling into a trap door give a chance of -1 to +4 on the monsters lvl. He posted something like that in someone post about TD's.

I might be wrong here. Also, maybe now this newer version he edited that, I'm not sure.
