Because all the hard indyviduals; egoists; selfish ones are now forced to play in groups; and they cant stand that.
I would have to say that while in a few cases, this may be correct, overall, it's wrong.
More and more in the game of Ladderslasher, people seem to feel they're entitled to other folks' time, equipment, and have a right to dictate to others how they should play their game.
If there are folks in the forum who appear to simply be "hating" (myself included), it's more from frustration over what has been seen more and more. Allow me to present you with a small list:
1. Topics: "OMG! ARENA GONE! I QUIT!" "OMG! I CAN'T GET EVERY GOOD ITEM THAT DROPS, MY TEAM MIGHT GET ONE! I QUIT!" "GIVE BACK EVERYTHING I WANT FROM PRIOR VERIONS, BUT DON'T TAKE AWAY ANYTHING I ACTUALLY LIKE FROM THIS UPDATE! I WANT IT EASY, I WANT IT ALL, AND I WILL CRY UNTIL I GET IT!!!"
2. Topics: "Constructive feedback regarding the update: What is everything you hate, and why?" "Is LS worth playing without arena?" "Is melee worth playing now with caster splash?" "Is caster weaker with splash delay?" "Is the market dying because of Arena/muting/well changes?"
3. In-Game: People who sell their best gear, get average sets, talk about how godly they "were", yet now add much much less to the team. People who had godly melee gear, now have poor casting gear (often with no heals), and make cry topics because they were kicked.
4. In-Game: People who join runs, spend 3/4 of their time AFK, then cry because those who just dedicated 3 solid hours (or more) to getting a swift MQ will not spend an extra hour to drag the afk leecher to MQ.
5. Topics: Any topic demanding that one person be allowed to reach into another person's vault, or onto other person's characters to "retrieve" "their" items, implying nothing other than desire for absolute control, as well as a complete lack of trust in those they call "friend".
Myself? I enjoy Ladderslasher. I enjoy Fishing, Cooking, Muting, Suffusencing, and occasionally, glyphing. I enjoy driving (though it wears on you after a while), I enjoy solo, and assuming the team has people who have a genuine desire to get to MQ without wasting too much of the teams time AFKing, I greatly enjoy catacombs. However, seeing more and more people who aren't actually quitting, but merely selling everything good they have, then crying when the rest of us won't carry them is not enjoyable. Seeing constant cry topics where people are simply whining because not everyone is going to orient their game around
that person is not enjoyable. Seeing "suggestions" for the game that will remove even more trust and respect from the community is not enjoyable. Seeing topics that harp on everything negative in the game, without addressing anything positive, is not enjoyable.
This topic? Yet another in a long line since this update was implemented which focuses merely on the negative. Yet you ask about hate?
