We all know the rules.

1. FFA
2. Make Rules in Open Welling runs
3. Guild Only welling
4. Trusted friends only
5. Solo Welling

et cetera

It seems that there are those people that snipe and try to justify their actions.

As a community (just like any other) there will be those that do not play nice.
There are those that play nice but stray once in awhile... this is inevitable.

Anyway... should there be a safeguard put in place?
Will new people be shafted because they join up and do not know these rules beforehand and lose out?

Anyway... discuss your point of view... this I hope will be a topic that is not closed and left open for public airing.

I posted a suggestion... and a majority of people thought it was pointless... well I do believe that my suggestion is a valid one.

Basics:
Person who drops item into well and has first view (2 sec delay before it is open to rest of group)
If within that 2 seconds an item or more are clicked by the weller, they instantly get that item without the 5 sec timer.

Edit: Please note, none of my welling items (open game) have ever been sniped... But I have seen it done.




I have not been shafted, but have seen someone else get shafted.

there are no rules and there will most likely be no rules, there is no need for a discussion on the forums
you can attempt to set them in game, but that doesnt always work either
if you're that concerned about your drops, dont well in public games... people welled by themselves for years, you can continue to do that

imo there are no rules.
people need to stop crying about stupidity.if you don't want others to get drops in public games when they are also killing/ healing etc make your own private game or guild run. simple.
i seen someone crying over a 30 fg sword at that like come on really?? especially when the person didn't even state to the other person the "rules".

There isn't going to be a "set" set of rules on welling... or at the very least I cna't see one ever being implimented

If you don't like the chances of losing the drop it's really quite simple, don't throw your well in if you aren't either a) solo or guild only

well on your own time
other people might just want to get to mq as fast as possible and don't have alot of spare time waiting on people doing wells and crap
