How to stop people from taking "Welled" drops, including side drops.

Before you start with:
1. Solo well
2. Guild cata welling
3. Get friend in.
4. Make rules clear b4 you put item in Well

This suggestion is implied for those that are new and also for those that are in a guild,
but because of their timezone, they are unable to play in guild cata runs often.

The following is hard to explain, but hopefully it makes sense:

Only the person dropping item in Well,
Will see the drops within a 3 sec time delay
Before other members of group can see them
... Note: this function can be toggled: ON/OFF

So... i put in an item into the well
we all kill well monster and get XP etc
I will see all items first (3 sec) and choose what I want
Anything remaining will be accessible to other group members after the 3 sec delay

This is what I think... sidedrops are the wellers. If it was not for THEIR item being put into the well, that sidedrop may not have dropped, considering no-one else had an item to put in the well in the first place or maybe they did not have that same Tier item... go figure.

Here is what I've found to work best: Item being dropped by weller is the wellers. The rest is free game for anyone.

In theory, this would solve the problem. Realistically, it would be a lot harder to ensure.



I definitely support this suggestion makes perfect sense to me

Personally I think it should remain free roll as it is right now. If it wasnt this way, melee would have an advantage since they dont need to shrine as much, or at all. Therefor they have more space available for wells.

Not voting either way yet tho, still have to think about it more, this is just my initial reaction.

Edit - Also, if the whites are coming from the run you did to get to the well, I think its only fair that everyone gets an equal chance at rolling on the items from the well

sidedrops should be ffa from the start. but giving the one who throws in the item the chance to decide first if he wants it or not would be nice, and would also support public welling with help of others

I like peoples ideas about wells but i think that keeping it open for anybody to click is good.
This will encourage guilds to well as a guild. I can see it drawing people into guilds in order to join in the runs and help with wells at the end
