I think it's irrelevant now, since you can leech your way the whole way easy. Guardians are no longer effective as you don't need to heal anymore(some heals are okay but a dedicated healer is pointless). The new update lets you leave the fight at anytime and regen or shrine, including in the middle of doing wells, eps, etc.



and someone that is grinding their way is going to be a hybrid.....sure pal

but having a decent hybrid makes the game a lot faster

grinding is that... however it also used to be just using gear that wasnt up to par with great gear i.e. ee<100 on hc

rogue without a question.
simply because he can wear everything exept heavy armors, and if you want to grind your way with selffound you better be able to wear most of what you find

for grinding rogue is best. thats out of question if grinding=selffound!

he can wear most of the stuff u are finding + he has quite balanced melee stats at the start.

if u are goin for budget its still nice as staffs fit the ro well and are cheap (still^^)

i have some okay swords i spent 50-200 fg on
just wasn't looking to buy anymore gear because i don't feel like doing level jobs on Rs

also i've never herd anyone refer to grinding as using gear that wasn't great
that'd just mean you're too poor to buy good gear

if you already have a swordset for 1-71, i would suggest fighter instead of rogue.
the benefit of the rogue is mainly that he can wear all kinds of weapons. but if you already have a set of swords, the stats of the rogue are not the best with the new update. you will need 3 times more str then dex using swords, and rogue has high base dex already, but low str.

it is only 1-35 :/

Grinding with selffounds on a rogue is garbage with update.

Let's say you have a descent dagger and go full dex and BAM you find an awesome club you'll do no damage whatsoever because your stat build is wrong.
