Okay... this is a fickle suggestion that will more than likely get a whole lot of .... (leave that upto you guys/gals)

Casters have been downgraded and now upgraded (catacombs with AoE), so this is just for the melee type of character I am thinking.
I figured that alot of people will think this will overpower the Hybrid characters, but, then you have to have the correct mix to make it overwhelming.

Specific type of "Weapon Mastery"...
... Sword Mastery
... Club Mastery
... Axe Mastery
... etc

The weapon that you find can have any specific type of mastery on it, so when you find a sword with "XX% Sword Mastery", it makes it pretty special...

Anyway... discuss, vote, state your piece of mind.

While I dont exactly understand this suggestion... I had something similar in mind, I think?

The idea was to add a random "Mastery" to weapons that effect charms. For instance you find a sword with the usual garbage stats. On top of those, it has 12 Ice mastery. Or +12EE to ice when using this sword. The element chosen is random, and would be done for charms too. A lightning has 8 Club mastery at random. The way the mastery amounts would be chosen is based on tier level. T1 = 1 mastery, T14 = 14 mastery.(burn in hell unspawnables!) Mastery would be automatically and randomly added for each item found. Even a white T14 would be randomly given +14 Mastery to something. Armor would be unchanged. Maybe this is what you meant?

Ah actually never mind my idea. i read your idea a few times over and now I understand. You want a special effect to be added, not the same old boring +EE.

What do you mean it makes it prety special? I think we need some more details before we can make an informed choice ;)

I agree melee could use a boost up after caster got that catacomb boost , but keep in mind casters were also crippled in the arena.

Robe (35% Sword mastery / +15 str / + 35 dex)
Main Charm: (35% Sword Mastery / 35% Heal Mastery)
Acc Focus 145% ee

As to the suggestion -- Weapons already have EE. You gain a higher proficiency in the specific weapon the more you use it.

And here is my main reason for not adding it:

It will dilute the already weakened mod add-ons caused by some less-than useful mod's

toooooooooo many stats

thats X10 for melee weapons (5 heavy) then X5 offensive charms

then there is X3 heal types





maybe prof should be mastery and ee after so much it does not just give plain ee (Success?)
