Ever since the transmuting update has come out, the transmuting proficiency icon located in our profiles has been that question mark thing (this: ) and Paul mentioned that he'd be open to someone making an icon.







Anyways, here are my efforts:

Box -

Essence -



So I went back and spent some time to try to make the essence look good - this is a lot better than it was before. I decided to repost this with a poll just to see what people like
Personally, I like the box icon more. I think it's way less confusing than than the essence. It probably would make more sense to have the icon be an essence though so it can be used for the icons of essences in our inventory... or maybe both could be used somehow?

So yeah - please give me feedback on one or both of them. Also let me know how they show up using other board displays (I'm using the high contrast one).

I don't fully understand what you're getting at - but if it's simply changing the icon of the essence - then there is no point.. it's fine as is.

Maybe I should edit my first post to be more clear...

Earlier today Paul mentioned in one of his posts that since we don't have icons in our character screens for the Transmuting Proficiency (right now it shows as ) and he said that he'd be down if someone tried to make one. So these are a couple of my efforts.

I should have clarified that in the beginning I was just assuming that everyone else had seen the same threads (stupid assumption...)

Should I maybe add a little black border around the essence like I did for the box? And does it look alright in other board display styles?

It's been only like 25 minutes, and you also added a bit too many options, lollerwaffles.

To be honest. The essence icon is a little to smooshed together if that makes sense. The chest looks well done though.

I admit I did get a little carried away with that. I've never made a poll before that utilized all 10 options



I know exactly what you mean and I don't really know how to fix it >_< it's probably just because the canvas size I'm working with here is 10 pixels by 10 pixels. It was even worse before I'll try to tweak a few things and see if I can do anything more about it though. Thanks for posting.
