Experience penalties per kill for special unlocked classes has been reduced down to under 25% of the original penalties. For reference, an Alchemist now has less penalties than a Monk used to have prior to this change. Death penalties still remain the same.

- Guild point bonuses have been increased for Monk and above
- A Guild Point log will be added to the Guild Logs for each GP gained via a MQ. This is not retroactive, and will only apply moving forward.

v1.08 (Wed, 6 Aug 2008, 09:27)

Added five new heavy weapons:
- longsword, warhammer, battleaxe, spear, polearm
- These heavy weapons can only drop in MP (the stats below can spawn anywhere) -- they can be used anywhere once found/bought
- Do double damage, more damage, but are slower

Added five new magical stats:
- Heal Mastery; total amount adds to the effectiveness of a heal charm used
- Power Shot; % chance to do max melee damage
- Glancing Blow; % chance to evade melee attack, which then does base damage
- Mana Skin; % chance to absorb some, all, or none of the damage taken (melee or magical). Calculation is based upon current mana remaining vs. damage being received
- Jubilance; adds +experience per second while sitting in town smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Viewing class ladders now does not factor in their MQ successes, only their experience on that class. Only the overall ladder will factor this in.

Also fixed a few bugs and issues.

v1.09

Added Weapon and Charm Proficiencies. You gain proficiency by using weapons/charms, and can gain ranks which add bonuses to your attacks (passive).

Your proficiencies will stay with your character, unless you delete it!

[edit 17 Sept 2009] Proficiencies are now permanent and will stay with your character indefinitely. They are no longer reset when the season ends.

v1.10 (Tue, 9 Sep 2008, 15:32)

Bug Fixes:
- Duplicate item drops (glitched) fixed in catacombs
- Double error message for full inventory now fixed
- Resummon button no longer appears after using the Well of Evil

New Features:
- You can now explore the catacombs alone (beware, it won't be easy)
- New Catacombs mode (default), maze exploration (lots of goodies and changes) -- Use Arrow Keys to move around and explore
- Item image displays behind item stats
- New Item added: Magical/Rare Comfrey
* Can spawn with a heal life, and/or recover mana. Can only be used outside of combat, but CAN be used in the catacombs!
- Item drops tweaked, various things should drop more often (heavy weapons and items)
- User text now colors the name of the person talking in bold and blue.
- New command added to the chat box to clear the contents (it will no longer auto truncate!): /clear
- Combat Stats popup added that displays details about everyone in the group (damage/heals)
- Redesigned group window

- Added /find LEVEL command, can find players of a given level. Example: /find 70
Notes:
- You can only issue this once every 10 seconds or so.
- Will only display players that have been active within the last 5 minutes
- Will display a * in front of the username if that user is currently in a group

New Catacombs Maze Details:
- By default when you create a group, it will be in "maze mode". This allows you to explore a randomly generated maze to look for fun and prizes!
- You can select "No Explore" to play Classic Catacombs in waves.
- If a group in the list is in "No Explore" mode, it will say "No Maze" in the description.
- Use the Arrow Keys to move around when in the catacombs in explore mode. Your position is indicated by a character icon.
- You will get in random fights while moving through the catacombs
- There are (currently) 4 types of random occurances that can occur in a given room:
* Heal Room - Heals you and your party (life and mana!)
* Teleporter - Randomly teleports you to another location in the maze
* Treasure Chest - A treasure chest full of fun and prizes
* Mini Bosses - Monsters that have more life, and are generally stronger than the usual riff-raff in the catacombs. They of course have much higher chances to drop awesome things, and will give lots of experience.
