I don't care if people call it a coincidence or an illusion or whatnot, but when you one-shot Evil Presences they never drop any loot. That's why I never use abilities on EP's (unless Shamans or something ofc)

I dont use salvation no, i dont even equip healcharms. I dont need to shrine untill lvl 45 orso and then is maybe 1 time per 3 lvls, untill 60-71 when i need to do it a bit more, but then i just shrine. Not saying this is the fastest setup, but its the one i use, and it works okay for me. Might try using salvation, doubt it will be faster than shrining tho.

In general I find this to be the case as well. For the most part it seems like the more hits it takes to kill an ep, the more items drop compared to 1 hitting an ep with an ability. I'm not saying every single time. Of course this is all people's opinions though.

This is interesting, i shall try this next climb and keep track of drops Oneshotted / no ability :)

I will agree with this monster energy has my old lvl 20 Axe that's dam near perfect I found from 1 shoting a mob

yea its still "possible" , I just find in general I get more (not necessarily better) drops by not 1 hitting them compared to when I do 1 hit them.

I think it's all random either way like how trap doors no benefit when iv seen some of the best shit drop from a trap door

Long time ago when we were doin bushruns, if we didnt use abilities on them we got ~5-10 whites extra compared to what we got when we used abilties.

Its jsut speculations ofc, but thats one of the biggest reasons ppl say that noobs get mroe drops than others cause it took them longer time to kill the damn monster.

I just started some and i keeping track to my prof / Time per 5lvls.

IM NOT USING DMG ABILITIES, ONLY SALVATION!

FULL EXPLORE

Level 1 -10 I used a map with the damn spider that makes illusions of himself which was annoying as fuck.
Level 10-15 I've used Arctic Map with the damn Reaper that freezes you... also a terrible choice of map doin solo.
Level 15-20 Continue on the damn Arctic Map.....
