Slush is right. Even though I don't specifically do skilling because of Xexp events, the recent 22 x transmuting event gave me 9 - 22% of a level from 1 transmute. The transmutes did take forever but that's a lot more than 1 monster kill c:

Oh trust me I know... and if you actually bother mqing your skiller that matters. Most people get to 55+ for EIS gear then park. I get several levels over the course of a fishing binge but that doesnt matter if I have no intention of mqing the character. Maybe if skilling exp applied after lvl 71 so I could raise my skiller 101+ it would matter more.

interesting. maybe it goes up as you get higher levvels of muting because when i was doing it on my level 6 muting skill, i couldnt even see my bar move.

Well... I don't really MQ too often, but my skillers are all characters that I MQ. Then again, I don't play hardcore, so that would probably change things. I agree that skilling prof would matter a lot more if it worked after level 71... maybe at a 75% reduction in efficiency or something, it would still be cool to keep going up by skilling.



It definitely does. Also, make sure you are actually getting prof for the skilling you are doing. You'll basically get nothing if you do things too low to get skill from. I was doing mystical to arcane VIs with rank 19 xmuting (max arcane VI).

With lvl 15 fishing I was able to finish a level pretty fast with the skilling event but that being said are you really looking to lvl up a character when skilling or are you doing it to lvl up the skill.

I guess its nice to lvl up from it but ultimately its meaningless unless your skill/mq character are one and the same. I feel like the xp boost would be more enticing if it was prof boost. Even if the 20x was reduced drastically to like 2-5x prof gains.

I disagree about these events being useless. I think it's kinda fun. Something else to do besides just skilling.

Jesus... can you imagine 5x prof gain?? lol. 1 transmute and get like 280 prof... Honestly, if it was even 1.2x prof gain, I would probably skill that prof until the event was over, and there would probably be people complaining about how easy it is to get prof with these events

Riiiiiiiight. Because taking 8 years to get to the ability to skill 55's is logical from ANY game.

I think skilling is broken on other games because everyone and their mother is max skill and there's almost no point having a skill if everyone is just as good as everyone else
