Notice he said overall prices not to raise prices. Knowing the best in games helps determine where the item stacks up and helps to better value the item.


The competition hes talking about is for best in game gear. That's it nothing more. Which is not likely to change those who own best in games are not likely to change hands to often.

A item is as much as someones willing to pay for. With about or less then 100 active players, even best in game items people dont pay much considering the RNG on this game isn't so random. It may look cool to make a topic saying #4 best in game wind. Then it gets trolled saying this item isn't on the list and this item. It doesn't help 'value' the item so much. Its just a epeen thread to look back at and drool looking at the power of such items. People know how good a item is and like boss said there is no difference between 100-200ee items no more. Theres a reason why 200ee+ items struggle to bring in 10-30k, sometimes not hitting 10k due to lack of players/interest, and the fact remains there is no competition. Its safe to say no one wishes for a 280ee dagger to beat 'random players' dagger. Its just to own/sell with possibly bragging. If your main goal is to beat phirips int robe or something you will be disheartened fairly quickly.

PRICE? maybe not so much, or yes it is 100ee ~nothing atm 200ee --> still alot (not if you compare to LS glory days)

Also ppl pay more if it is the best ingame item cause as you said they care about epeen and they want the best.
Even if you dont have either epeen or the funds to get the best.

Yeah the damage difference is huge. Maybe save an action or two every mob which adds up. Its not arena though, everyone gets by easily with 100ee items. If your whole climb has 200+ee items from 40 and up then yeah it will make a difference by about 30minutes to an hour in a full climb depending on the driver but if one or two people just have 200ee+ items from 50 and up your only saving about 15-20 minutes on a full climb maybe. and yeah best in game and second best get much more depending on item type/stats but gear like that isn't sought out by many. There is no bid war or a small one if any on most very very good items and its still usually not enough in the sellers eyes. For as long as this game has been out theres maybe what 1 280ee item? 0? A best in game charm 5 years into the game should be looking like 275+ee +int +hm + life/mana perhaps considering all the climbs , magic finding ,welling and quests done.

Tbh the odds of finding a 280 ee item in a full climb even with alchemists is most likely greater then one in a million.
