Your logic falls apart when you take your first example. Taking 2 magicals and being able to combine them into a rare and spawn 2 stats on 1 item is overpowered when you consider it takes the exact same time to mute 2 magical essences with an item and only have 1 stat.

imo

there should be ALOT higher chance to get mythical if you are muting a mythical item

Like atm now when i started to suffuse again
i pick up alot of arcane t1s
of 20 arcane+ t1s i might get one or two arcane essences.

It def needs a boost!

and when i have mute over 2000 just to get a single good mod. please you have no freaking clue what you are talking about.


even if you were to assume a rare a negligible fluke in comparison look at the higher levels. oh nooooo you cant because then your WRONG. stop trying to prove yourself right by not looking at the facts.

I believe I have some experience with muting and despite your griefs about muting, this suggestion is overpowered. The market is already flooded with items that people can't sell, what good is it to add even more supply to what little demand there is?

market is flooded because update drove people away in the masses has nothing to do with the skill. im supposed to be impressed with you level 34 muting dude i was there 2 FREAKING YEARS AGO. but in effort to stop myself from feeling like im slamming my head against a wall trying to get someone to think logically ill just leave this thread to your inability not consider someone elses opinion over your own.

the idea of this is to get everyone get to higher lvls faster
and more players muting (and if more players start muting more players will buy their needs vs 1fg ea)

But that will only further deflate the value of gear by injecting more of it into the market. What the game needs is to expand it's playing base and people aren't going to pick up the game again to sell mutes at 1 fg a piece.

I like the idea of adding new stats onto items which slowly decreases the value of older items and possibly makes new items more valuable. Things like that make the game more appealing to me and possibly to others new and old and it would be interesting to see if there is any more stat changes/creations planned.

i already pay 1 fg per stat for pretty much everything i buy. when i have the fg i buy pretty much everything i can. just to skill by myself. i enjoy that. new players will not come unless then can EARN. there has to be something they can FARM to earn. as as muting is what it is now selling mutes will not help. we need something else. whites perhaps as many have suggested over time.

any muting update would help greatly.and would not be overpowered there is no guarantee that u will mute anything good

bs! u need much less food and u have a much higher range to pick of! thats why and its the only reason!
there are ranks on glyphing where u need like 7 attemps to even succeed a single glyph. with muting u simply succeed every attempt.

@dpaules: thx for pointing out the crap that dude was talking out of smoke... i wasnt sure if i was reading correctly, when i saw mariooshs post :wacko:
