It's a tricky one - at the moment, staves are the best type of weapon for the newbies simply because they are so stunningly cheap.

if you make them sammy usable then that'd probably make the price of them rise significantly... then what would the newbies use?

It's a good idea, i do wish staves were more useable by more classes... but i'm just not too sure of the consequences.

At the same instance, though, think of the affect this may potentially have on the price of swords..

every class can use whatever weapons they want b/c some person in history used them

makes sense imo...

btw, if anything a samuria should be able to use a club, not a staff

I've always considered gear restrictions on characters something that adds challenge and forces you to plan a bit.

If samurai gets staff I would like it to lose either sword or dagger.

i would personally love to use staff on a monk bc i hate my swords.

Swords low crits piss me off so much aha

but it will be wat? same as a swords usefulness ? making it same price as a sword? Thus i do not want to pay same price a 200 ee sword compared to a 200 ee staff
