maybe i'm not reading it right, but how is someone supposed to sell a character with high proficiencies that they have never mq'd?

I think an easy way around this would just be it wouldn't matter about the MQ attempts or MQ's passed.

I think Paul should just turn it into a feeder when the transfer has taken place.

Skill based characters or begining of new seasons. Trying to keep it very limited to not create selling alchemist for 20k crap. As mentioned above due to the abuse previously of the combat profs i dont think we could include them for now to make the idea fly with paul

It's a nice idea in the sense that reaching high levels in skills is generally a guild effort and if that guild member quits it can be a major let down.

ie: number one HC muter has slowed down by a lot.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this though, especially the selling weapon profs people are mentioning.

In my opinion, skill profs would be more powerful to have than weapon profs.

Although this essentially makes the Prof Ladder pointless, considering you get to the top by just throwing currency around.

I dont like this idea very much at all Chris to be honest (part of it being what Lance said)

I like the pride from leveling my "own" profs up over time

I doubt most high lvl skillers would be willing to sell and again, skills like glyphing and muting are really a guild effort. Cooking fishing and suffensing less so...

Well, I really like the idea of trading profs. It is another aspect of the economy and I think it would be a very profitable market.

However a more dominant part of me really dislikes it.

I could probably accept it if only skills were involved.

A lot of people take pride in their profs, me included.

I am kind of in the middle here. On one side, I think this is a great idea for a possible market but on the other I think it takes a lot of pride from this game.

After a reset, I would be willing to sell my character for top tier profs, if say the offers were in the 20k range or higher.

People like Cole (Mcclain) would never do it but a lot of others would be willing to do it.

I do not like this. It turns LS from a fun community game into a profitable game just to farm and sell for profit.
Inconsistent playability after that point.
