"Hardcore Event Give Away" [HEGA]
Starts: 12pm [Noon] EST Saturday the 26th January 2013 which is 5PM my time

After all the great help from many of the Hardcore slashers that have donated or sold items cheap to myself and other players, we (izParagonzi and Kalms)
have decided to reward any New Hardcore members with their achievements in obtaining either 1, 2 or 3 ranks in a chosen skill
(Excluding Fishing, Transmuting, Glyphing, Cooking & Suffusencing)

This event is aimed predominantly at New slashers to Hardcore. You will be able to enter if you have characters on softcore and want to move across,
and we will also accept some cases of existing hardcore members that have gone through some form of trauma related to their career (largest example
would be RIP their gear after a death) or who are still poor.

We are hoping that this will bring a few more people into the Hardcore section, which may increase the amounts of groups and more items dropping...
and of course... the continuence of them slashing.

How to obtain the giveaway prizes:
1. New Toon Hardcore ONLY (link to this character before commencing)
2. Must achieve Rank 1 in either a weapon, cast or heal category.
Note: Please state the Rank that you choose and post in this thread with your character.

What items would be given in conjunction of 25fg:
Upon reaching Rank 1 in what you have chosen, you will choose either [subject to availability]
Weapon Set
Armor Set
Charm Set (stat) or (cast) or (heal)

An example of the gear that will be part of the prize packages is:



NOTE: These sets may NOT have MQ gear (lvls 45/50/55), but they will be good enough to start a new player out in a group.

BONUS:
Rank 2 in your chosen category + 1 MQ attempt = another 25fg and a selection of other set to hopefully complement your first set.
Rank 3 in your chosen category + 2 MQ attempts = another 25fg and a selection of another set to hopefully complement your first two sets.
... Rank 3 is the final point of this even for the new player...

... Rank 3 must be obtained in a single proficiency ...

Forum Gold:
Upon each rank (max 3) in one skill chosen by the participant, they will recieve 25fg per.

@Bolded: Please note that this fund of 500fg will be used for:
1. Purchasing other donated items from donators (Please note Donators will be accredited with future updates if not already mentioned)
2. Participants receive back payment of fg used to purchase their items... I.E. 12fg spent for 12 items = return the 12 fg
3. Transfer days (when needed) to ensure that the new items are placed onto the Mules listed for everyone to see updated items.

You already have a Sword set and some EE chains Alex, we are aiming to try for some other users to start off, but i may help you out a little bit if you do show a commitment to hc (not contest related ofc)

Something to add here on my part.

If i see some slashers that do show a more than adequate dedication to the game, i have more stuff that i can donate to help them This stuff MAY be better than the stuff i have put up for free already

I wll give some items to this contest also.
