Please refrain from tl;dr posts. If you're planning on posting in such a way, then get the hell out of the thread. You will be reported for spam.
Please keep this topic spam-free.

Looking at tha Samurai, the obvious weapons allowed would be sword and dagger. That fits the general Samurai stereotype.
Historically, it would make sense to have our "Ladder Slasher Samurai" staff equippable as well. One of the greatest Samurai
in history, Miyamoto Musashi, won a number of his duels in his life weilding a Jo (staff). Why not make this option available in
our simple flash game? I know there are a great number of slashers who would love to see such a magnificent weapon be
unseable by more than just the Rogue (how many people honestly start out with a melee rogue??) and Monk, a class which the majority
of people decide to use daggers on, simply because it's cheaper than investing in a staff set for just ONE class..

I, personally, would love to see this implemented. It's much easier, in my opinion, than putting in a NEW staff equippable class,
like has been suggested so many times lately. Please cast your votes. If you vote no, please explain why.
Hopefully, we can see our beloved Samurai wielding a staff soon.

Thank you for looking.

How can anyone say tl;dr to that? It's not even long at all

But anyways, it makes good sense to me - historically and in terms of actual gameplay. I say yes ^_^

Exceptional explanation and I would concur on the Historical matter, and vote yes.

One of the points you made:

Monk, a class which the majority of people decide to use daggers on, simply because it's cheaper than investing in a staff set

This is debateable... I have a Monk... I use EE Staffs because they ARE cheaper than daggers (I have 2 level fill-ins).
_____________

Off topic... maybe the Headhunter should use Clubs... these are used to knock their pray unconscious so that they can perform the ritual of dismembering Head from the rest of the Body...

This would make clubs useable once again... woot...

Well, I didn't say all.. I only said majority. :P
As per your HH idea, I would make a thread, might go somewhere. You never know. :D

Also, ty for your vote. :D

voted no, because i would like to see them be able to use those weps, but that would change the current marketplace completely, eventhough it already has changed alot. it would cause prices to rise up (which can be good and bad depending on if ur buying or selling), i like how it as of now. would be cool if it was changed, but i don't think it will be otherwise it would of been implemented by now. only thing that i think should be changed is more heavy weps the sami can use not just longsword, maybe spear or polearm

heavys wouldn't change the mp at all, there is very little of them out there, as for staffs there are a many and they are one of the cheapest mele weps u can buy. since u cannot mute heavys they will always be a bit expensive but adding them to a character to be able to use would not affect the prices of them or if it does, not drastically.

Thank you for your vote, but your argument is a little off. You would like to see more heavies available for use,
which would make the market change as well?? I'm not quite sure I understand..
