I want to share a bit of a story regarding Ernie's ''real'' quote on quote father. Well folks on here in the past and recently today thesnipa1@jsp or whatever his account is wants to know what happened to Ernie's real father.
Well to those of you who have been following my posts notice I really don't talk a lot about the man and have maybe referenced him a few times and it wasn't in a positive way.
Well you see folks Ernie's real father was named Raymond and I will not say his last name because Raymond's last name is the same last name that Ernie has. Ernie's last name is not Overmyer just his middle name.

Well you see Raymond was not a good father figure and I never liked the man. You see the reason I never like mentioning the guy much is because Raymond chose the life of a criminal and basically ended up dead. Like the saying goes you live by the sword you die by the sword. That is why I don't really like talking about Raymond because he is now part of the deceased.
Now Paulie who is my sister Gertrude's boyfriend may have been in and out of jail as well due to constant bar fights and what not. But Raymond was FAR worse then Paulie could ever be. Paulie has a heart, Raymond never had a heart.
Raymond was a criminal and in and out of jail for worse reasons then Paulie. Raymond constantly got in fights like Paulie does however Raymond was a trouble maker and a low life. Rest his soul but what I am saying is the truth. He never cared for Ernie and said Ernie was a mistake and hated he even had him. Raymond beat me up quite a few times as well and I still can feel his punches to this day...
I don't know why Gertrude likes these kind of tough guy men for. Well whatever thankfully Paulie is a good man and I am glad my sister is with him.
Carol my soon to be wife couldn't even believe the stories I told her about Raymond. Raymond gouged a mans eyes out one time in a a bar fight and nearly killed a man by almost drowning the guy into a toilet after cracking his skull on the seat.
Raymond was a heavily into the drug business and other illegal operations and I feared for the safety of Gertrude and new born Ernie at the time. Raymond was a loan shark and would beat people up purposely while told to do so. Raymond would come home with blood knuckles bragging about how he beat so and so up and the people who begged him to stop and how he would laugh and find joy in hurting these people. Raymond was a sick in the head man with barbaric behavior. He was truly demented.
One day Raymond who instead of taking care of Ernie like a real father should have came home all drunk breaking things, beat me up, hit Gertrude and said some very bad things about his own son which I would never repeat. I leaped in front of young Ernie at the time and begged Raymond to not his own son who was just an infant in a baby crib.
Raymond went out and went and got ''High'' so to speak, came back again even more violent. And I remember that night specifically because it was pouring rain very hard out... Well he went out again and apparently he got killed. I received the phone call that very night hearing that Raymond while high on whatever drugs decided to drive himself into a store while apparently crashing and taking his life. The police said the man seems like he purposely crashed his vehicle while intoxicated on many things found and they say he may have easily went around 50-60 MPH while purposely going into the wall of the convenient store.
I did tear I won't lie but at the same time I was sort of relieved because this man was beyond dangerous for many reasons. Raymond was hands down one of the most violent people I ever came across in my entire life. Any bully who ever bullied me in my life was no where near as scary and dangerous as this man.
And although Raymond has been dead for now about 15 years. It is soon to be 15 years...... This all took place around 15 years ago... I was actually only in my early 20's at the time. But now that he is dead I can't sugar coat it and say I honestly miss the guy. Because I honestly don't miss man. He was a terrible human being who always hit me. He was like 10 years old then I was. He was in his early 30's at the time when he passed away tragically.
He would hit Gertrude and always be up and never once cared for his son. He even spit at Ernie one time if my memory serves correct. He spit beer right at Ernie while drunk, no joke... That was the one night he nearly broke my jaw and fractured my nose after I told him to stop.
Well a lot of time has passed since this all occurred.
So now people understand why I don't really like talking about Ernie's real father. He was never a father to Ernie.
Paulie may be violent but Paulie is still a good man and no where near as violent as Raymond was. And no where near as violent as Raymond was in a negative way either.
Paulie has hit me before and he even hit Gertrude but the beatings Raymond gave Gertrude and I and the amount are no match.
Paulie loves my nephew/Gertrude's son Ernie.
Raymond never loved Ernie.
Ernie was afraid of Raymond. Literally the poor kid you could tell was scared even though he was very young when Raymond was around.
Okay I am done discussing this guys.
I just had to get this off my chest because people keep asking me while on here about Ernie's real father.
Well now you know folks.
