batteries, flashlights, water, radio place to meet loved ones plan of action where to meet if no phones work. Atleast I wont fall in the dark or be without water for first few days WHEN something happens.

what is paranoid? you paranoid of a snake that is close to you? or just move out of the way so you don't get bit? I am just saying have things in place for emergencies nothing wrong in that. like places where you need a fire extinguisher
