http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=52593487&f=120my other question is this:
my wife was given an iphone 4 but it's locked to AOL or AT&T (can't remember which one cos drunk atm and dun want to wake her up to ask)
but we r in Vietnam atm and have been told (by the local iphone pros) that the iphone 4 cant be unlocked with that provider currently if u not in the USA
is this true? basically i want to know how to unlock her iphone cos jail breaking seems pointless imo

I don't know about iPhones in particular, but I know that usually an "unlocked" phone, just means it's unlocked so you can use it for any phone company, not just the one it was purchased from. A jailbroken iPhone/iTouch/etc is hacked into and made so all the apps etc are free. IIRC, anyway. I don't know I've never had one.
