I think they say that vitamin C only works at preventing a cold, but does nothing during the actual course of a cold. But yes I agree with drinking more fluids.

First of all who is they? And you think?
It boosts the immune system and helps fight it off faster it's not a cure 100% but it most certainly helps. Many studies have been done to prove this. As a matter of fact there is no cure for cold only thing you can do is speed up the recovery and treat for symptoms.

Praying is useless.
