tbh most Christians aren't definate as to how old the Earth is themselves.
Let's just say that the events in the bible make sense between a six thousand time period and now. But we don't know the period between Adam and abraham nor noah and ect. It is based off of the geneologies that are the bible, i think?
I use to be a bio major, and tbh to me it makes more sense for the Earth to not be that old logically, and if it was imo there would be more signs other than an inaccurate radiation guess that we haven't been around long enough to observe.
Buuuuut who knows?
well thats just not true at all
catholics make up the majority of christians by themselves
and they accept the scientific communities view that the earth is 4.5 billion years old
they also teach that those ot books like genesis, simply are not literal
there was no adam or eve, there was no noah, those stories are just that, stories

the bible was written by men over a span of 1500 years or so
what the fuck have you been smoking ?
nothing in any bible was written before the 6th century bc
and nothing after the 1st century ad
and the bibles are collections of books, not single books in and of themselves
