Way to put words in my mouth - at no point did I say I love the NHS, there are lots of things that can be done better, but by fuck does it put America's stupid version to shame.

I personally don't know anything about the Olympics, but I will admit.. it definitely was a bit boring to watch and I wasn't interested after a while of watching - at least what I seen a few hours ago where they was in a stadium and such.

...you are so grossly misinformed about our system it's laughable . Payment is made after the procedures through our insurance carriers and for those who can't afford it the government pays the tab through medicare and medicaid . My particular insurance policy has me pay a 10 dollar copay for a standard office visits and all it takes to see my primary care doctor is a phone call and they'll probably squeeze me in the same day .

...what I pay for the highest quality healthcare on the planet is chickenfeed compared to the taxes needed to support national healthcare .
