Animals don't have souls

Your soul is something like your life force, we all have 1 even a tree has a life force...Now some tree's get sick and spread disease to other tree's unless you cut down.....Same with humans some filled with a sickness in their soul. Can't feel much but selfish things. Those willing to do evil upon others.
No reason to hate them for they are sick and needs to be cut, from the forest before they cause harm to others. With humans other then rest of creation on earth, Can try to cause harm to others or get others to do harm corrupting their life force. Again no reason to hate, but needs to be weary of these people and cut them from your life for their goal is corruption of you.
If a life force brings harmony to others, and love, joy. it is a righteous Life force and should be protected. If you hate you have been corrupted by those who are sick.
