The Mediator forums state that there is a "100% safe trade" while using one of their mediators.

My concerns and questions are as follows:
1) Is there ANY chance a mediator would take an item (lets just use a random amount) worth $20,000 if he already had a buyer lined up and nothing could be tracked?

2) If a mediator was given an item, and someone broke into said mediator's house and held the mediator at gunpoint to give him the item he was holding, would the mediator
choose the bullet and the Mediation task, or simply give up the item?

3) Are mediators legally bound to D2JSP, are they employed by D2JSP, is their personal information on file in case something like this happens?

4) Does anyone know of any situations where a mediator acted unjust, scammed, or lied?

My concern is this, I agree using mediators is the SAFEST way to trade on D2JSP. But I disagree with the fact that it is 100% safe.

mediators have scammed and lost their trusted status in the past
you shouldn't put 100% faith in anybody over the internet unless you personally know and have a relationship with them in real life.

i've personally known 1 mediator who scammed
i've also heard and seen threads of about 5 others who are just plain retarded and don't know how to sucessfully meditate a trade

nope, mediators are less trustworthy than duffman

So D2JSP has provided false information that could be a misleading factor in their users' financial decisions?
If anyone could provide actual proof of Mediators scamming or losing their tags it would be greatly appreciated.

there have been 100000+ meditations successfully, and i'd say at least ten known scams
so you're looking at a very improbable chance that a mediator shall act out of boundaries to scam, and very improbable chance you'd get a brainless one

I assume the risk goes up the larger the trade?

mediators are very trusty and there is a lot of security checks done before giving a trusted tag and a mediator tag , it did happen in the past that one went berserk but its one in hundreds of trades with mediators , if you dont want to trade a 24k fg deal without using a mediator then dont trade here honestly

one in hundreds of trades? that's a disgusting ratio of safety
