Hello everyone. For those of you that don’t know, I recently got a name change from hell_raiser6612 to Shokaloop, so don’t be confused! I'm still the same awesome person you've all come to love!
For today’s guide, I will be telling you how to do mobilising armies.. PROPERLY.
First off, how do you get to Mobilising Armies (MA)?The easiest way is by having level 10 magic, 1 Law rune, 1 Air rune, and 1 Water rune. This teleports you right to the MA.
Not 10 magic yet? No problem, there are plenty of other ways to get there.
*Ring of duelling teleport directly to the Mobilising Armies entrance (no requirement)
*Spirit tree teleport to Mobilising Armies area (after Tree Gnome Village)
*Charter a ship to Oo'glog (after As a First Resort...)
*Fly a Gnome glider to Feldip Hills (after One Small Favour)
*Fairy ring teleport to Feldip Hunter area code AKS (after partial completion of Fairytale II - Cure a Queen)
Great, now we're here!
Understand what Mobilising Armies is"Mobilising Armies is a members-only real-time strategy activity in RuneScape released on 8 July 2009. During the activity, players organise armies, then command those armies in two or four-player battles. The official world is world 76 - though sometimes it can be hard to find even four players there. However, friend chats also operate on other worlds." - Rs wiki
Basically it's Jagex’s version of a real time strategy game.
Great I'm here! So now what do I do?Well, before you jump into the game, you need to learn about investments credits.
Investment credits are the currency in MA. You need these in order to play the game.
How do I get investment credits? These can be bought for many of the products of skills such as unstrung bows, Summoning scrolls, or flatpacks from Construction, but what I like to use is Fire Runes. Basically all your extra skilling junk gets turned into investment credits.
Investment Credits were intended to clear the economy of items that would usually stagnate due to lack of demand (known often as junk). Items previously mentioned were only used in junk trades or sold to general stores for a fraction of their GE price.
Basically, when free trade was taken away, Jagex needed to do something in order to clear up peoples’ banks. So when I say ALL your skilling junk can be turned into investment credits, I mean all. If for some reason you cannot, the game will tell you. This is why I like to use Fire runes. They're cheap, they stack, and they give you a decent amount of credits for selling them.
Refer to this link for all the items that can be traded for investment credits:
