Hello everyone. For those of you that don’t know, I recently got a name change from hell_raiser6612 to Shokaloop, so don’t be confused! I'm still the same awesome person you've all come to love!

For today’s guide, I will be telling you how to do mobilising armies.. PROPERLY.

First off, how do you get to Mobilising Armies (MA)?
The easiest way is by having level 10 magic, 1 Law rune, 1 Air rune, and 1 Water rune. This teleports you right to the MA.
Not 10 magic yet? No problem, there are plenty of other ways to get there.
*Ring of duelling teleport directly to the Mobilising Armies entrance (no requirement)
*Spirit tree teleport to Mobilising Armies area (after Tree Gnome Village)
*Charter a ship to Oo'glog (after As a First Resort...)
*Fly a Gnome glider to Feldip Hills (after One Small Favour)
*Fairy ring teleport to Feldip Hunter area code AKS (after partial completion of Fairytale II - Cure a Queen)

Great, now we're here!

Understand what Mobilising Armies is
"Mobilising Armies is a members-only real-time strategy activity in RuneScape released on 8 July 2009. During the activity, players organise armies, then command those armies in two or four-player battles. The official world is world 76 - though sometimes it can be hard to find even four players there. However, friend chats also operate on other worlds." - Rs wiki

Basically it's Jagex’s version of a real time strategy game.

Great I'm here! So now what do I do?

Well, before you jump into the game, you need to learn about investments credits.
Investment credits are the currency in MA. You need these in order to play the game.

How do I get investment credits?
These can be bought for many of the products of skills such as unstrung bows, Summoning scrolls, or flatpacks from Construction, but what I like to use is Fire Runes. Basically all your extra skilling junk gets turned into investment credits.

Investment Credits were intended to clear the economy of items that would usually stagnate due to lack of demand (known often as junk). Items previously mentioned were only used in junk trades or sold to general stores for a fraction of their GE price.

Basically, when free trade was taken away, Jagex needed to do something in order to clear up peoples’ banks. So when I say ALL your skilling junk can be turned into investment credits, I mean all. If for some reason you cannot, the game will tell you. This is why I like to use Fire runes. They're cheap, they stack, and they give you a decent amount of credits for selling them.
Refer to this link for all the items that can be traded for investment credits:

What can I buy with these Investment credits?
I'm glad you asked!

Investments credits are used to pay for your squad, and special units.

Squads can be bought in the South-Western building. A minimum of 10 squads are needed in order to begin the game. A maximum of 10 squad contracts can be held at any one time. These are your armies in which you are going to control throughout the game.

Special units are basically your back up. Players may also wish to buy special units. These are located in the North-Eastern tent. Players can buy up to five special units. You buy special units with your investment credits.

Depending on what strategy you decide to play as will decide the special units you will want to buy. But we will get into that later on in the guide... Trying to make this noob friendly as possible.

So, You've got your 25,000 fire runes in your inventory, where do you take them in order to get investment credits?

Speak to Junior Cabet Maul at the entrance of MA. If you right click him you can get to it alot faster.

There you can trade all your fire runes for investment credits! Now idk the exact amount of credits you will get for this, but it will be quite a bit!

So take your investment credits and head over to the squad building (shown in the first picture above) and Make yourself an army!Deepened on what person you buy from will determine which type of squad you will get.

Now this is where the strategy comes into play. I'll explain the two parts there are.

First, if your the kind of person that likes to just afk a mini game or skill this one is for you!

Buy 10 LIGHT squids of your choice, I prefer Elvens squads as they have the least amount of life. Once you've got 10 squads, head over to the Special units table and buy 5 cannons.

So your set up and ready to go! Head down the MA stars next to the squad building. Once you click it will give you a choice of 4 game types. I recommend you choose the game type "Siege" Its basically a 4 team free for all, where the objective is either to be first to break down your side of the castle wall, or to kill all the other players in the game.

Click it, then an investment screen will pop up! This is basically where you can bet credits that you will win the game, FYI if you loose you will loose all those extra credits.. Imo don't do it.
Once that is chosen you get put in the waiting room while you wait for 3 other people to join.

Great now you're in the game!

First Strategy, the easy afk one.

You start off with your 10 squads.
You can move the camera around with you arrows keys. One by one select your squads and tell them to attack the side of the castle you are pointing towards. Simply click the squad, and click the wall. Do this to all 10 squads.

You need to keep them attacking the wall until the timer in the top right says "26 minutes", you have to play for atleast 4 minutes or you want get a rank, If your squads die before then YOU WILL NOT GET ANY RANK! Thats no bueno, all that work for nothing. You get pwnt, and I laugh. So please do this so I can laugh.
So if another team starts using all their special units on you, move some of your squads away so you still have some left. Basically survive for 4 minutes, or until there is 26 minutes left.

Now, you survived until 26 minutes right? Good you're on the right track =)

Now start using your own special units on yourself, and kill yourself. Literally, off your units! KILL THEM ALL MUAHAHAHAHA, sorry. I get excited about that. But, yeah. Kill yourself, BOOM you get a rank. WOOT WOOT, only 299 more games to go =)

one thing to take into consideration is that you cannon will go through one squad and hit your other squad for the same amount of damage. So, MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT ANGLE YOUR CANNON WILL FIRE TO HIT BOTH YOUR UNITS! If you miss that cannon is wasted, and congrats you're not very smart.

Once you've finished a game you will appear in a room, one thing you will notice is your squad tickets are X'ed out. Climb up the stairs and You need to go back to where you bought you squads from, right click the master squad guy that you chose, and click "manage". Then click "Resupply all" This will bring all your squads back to life! The game wont let you back into another game if your squads are all still dead =p

Once you've done that, you need to head over to the special units table and resupply your special units! You use them, they go away, you have to buy them again. You get the gist.

Once you're all stocked up on your squads and special units, head back down the stairs and do it again!

You can manage about 12 rank an hour AT MAX.

Strategy number 2! Try hard and have fun
Now this one can either be faster! Or, can take twice as long. Just depends on what the other teams are doing.

Following the same gist as before. But this time around You want to buy all HEAVY SQUADS. I prefer the goblins as they are basically tanks when it comes to MA.

The only down fall for being a heavy team is they are slower then the light teams are.

One thing I've done a couple times in when the other team is all heavy and every other team in the game is dead, I'll run around the entire 20 minute game. Since you're light, you move faster. So its hard for the heavy teams to catch you and kill. I do this just to make the other team mad lol. I wouldn't recommend this if you are just trying to get the game done with.

When you spawn into the game, you want to wait a second to see what the other squads are doing. Move you camera around and see what's going on. If all the other teams are attacking the wall and not doing anything els, you make your move.

Don't attack the castle, there is another secret way of breaking down that wall. If you notice when you spawn, depending on which side you spawn on. There is supply to the left and to the right of your squads. You need to send 1 squad each to pick up this supply. Once you and collected all the supplies needed for the catapult, bring it back and build It. BOOM you have a massive catapult that pwns.

Once this is done, and the catapult is created, you will notice a pile of rocks not to far from the catapult. One by one use all your squads to start collecting rocks to load the catapult with. Once a squad comes back to the catapult, it will launch the rocks at the castle.

Note that once the squad puts the rocks into the catapult, it will just stand there waiting for you to give it a command to get more rocks. So just keep click and telling each squad to get more rocks.

If the other team keeps suiciding then you will win the game and get 2 points! Also, you don't have to pay for your squads back! So its a win win.

This bad part about this strategy is if the other team is also heavy, the will most likely start attacking you. Just move like 2 or 3 squads to attack them while the rest of you squads collect supplies OR when this happens you might as well just try to kill the other teams squads, as they will prolly be attacking you with their entire team. Last man standing wins.

Enjoy and happy scapping!

Yea, just had a deja vu, but now I know why. :P
Thought you remade it completely.
Still pretty nice and detailed. Will have to follow this guide once I decide to get those imbued rings.
^^

E: Fire runes not so junky anymore. :O
