Requirements:- Cooking Gauntlets (Acquired from the Family Crest Quest) & (Highly Recommended when we hit level 40+ to save money and speed up the experience)
- Patience and Determination
- Some gold for raw fish (If you dont have large ammounts of coin dont worry increments will do fine but will take longer to achieve 99)
Recommended Cooking Location:Rogue's Den in Burthorpe. ( We will be spending a LOT of time here )
we have two ways to get here
1. Walk directly north from taverley
2. If you have a Games Necklace (613 coins from GE) teleport to Burthorpe games room climb the stairs and walk out into the village,
enter the Pub and climb down the trapdoor, through the door and to the west.
Blue = Where you will enter from the pub trapdoor
Green= Bank
Red = Fire
Lets Start Cooking!Note: GE Prices are likely to change and this was correct prices at time of writing AND the number of fish needed for each will vary based on how many fish you burn but will be mostly accurate.
- Our first goal is getting from level 1-20 and to achieve this we will use Shrimp.
Raw Shrimp sells for approx 4 coins each at the GE and to achieve level 20 we will need 149 Shrimp(makesure you buy a few extras incase of burnings!)
Our first 20 levels doesnt cost so much only 596 coins for the lot!
- Next step is Levels 20-40. we will be using Trout.
Raw Trout sells for approx 9 coins each at the GE and to achieve level 40 we will need approx 468 Trout
This will cost us a total of 4212 coins.
(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU USE COOKING GAUNTLETS FROM THIS POINT ONWARDS!)- Making good progress so far! Now we are looking at 40-68. we will be using Tuna.
Raw Tuna sells for approx 43 coins each at the GE and to achieve level 68 we will need approx 5679 Tuna
This will cost us a total of 244,197 coins.
- Alrigt level 68 fantastic! goodwork so far...
68-90 is our next target. We will be using Lobsters.
Raw Lobster sells for approx 114 coins each at the GE and to achieve level 90 we will need approx 39,511 Lobster!!!
This will cost us a total of 4.5 million coins.
Alright the ammount of lobsters above needed is a lot and the cost we will be to much for some players... however doing increments is fine.. if you cant afford all 39k lobsters at once do the following..
Buy as much as you can afford, cook them, sell them and start again until you achieved 90! (this system can be applied to any level from 1-99 in this guide)- Are you at level 90 yet? if so congratulations and hang in there 9 levels to go!
90-94 is our next goal. We will be using Monkfish.
Raw Monkfish sells for approx 299 coins each at the GE and to achieve level 94 we will need approx 17,322 Monkfish
this will cost us a total of 5.2 million coins.
- Ok the last step! 94-99! We will be using Shark.
Raw Shark sells for approx 638 coins each at the GE and to achieve our final goal of 99 we will need approx 24,238 Shark
this will cost us a total of 15.5 million coins.
Total losses of coin on this guide is approximately 5.6mil coin (not that expensive for a 99 skill)
