Bizarre's Red Chinning Guide

If you have any questions reguarding my guide or any way you can improve it, PM ME.
    Color Code
    Minimum ,Reccomended

    Equipment
This is the equipment + items you will need to use from 80-99 ranged. Its a lot yes, but dont expect to get 99 ranged in a week if you cant afford to spend
    about 30m.
  • Full void ranged. You MUST use full void ranged. In my opinion it is the best option. You may not hit slightly as often if you were
in full armadyl, but you certainly hit higher.
  • Glory ,Fury. I suggest using a fury because it gives better prayer and ranged bonuses, but glories are also
1.5m less, and you can use them to teleport out, saving you an inventory space. ITs really up to you.
  • Zamorak book (full). This book is a MUST. It is the only and best option. It gives amazing prayer and ranging bonuses.
If you dont have this book, Dont throw red chins.
  • God cloak, or trimmed skillcape ,Ava's Accumulator. This is all on choice. If you want to have speed, and get
this done as fast as you can, use the accumulator because you will hit more often, but you will have to bank more often.
If you want to use more prayer pots, but save chins, use the accumulator. If you want to use more chins, and save prayer pots,
use the Trimmed skillcape, or god cloak, and you will bank less often because of higher prayer bonuses.
  • Snakeskin Boots ,Ranger boots. Snakeskin boots are 6.8m less expensive, and are almost as good as
ranger boots. Ranger boots give more ranged bonus though, so if you can afford them, use them. But its also another 7m you loose if you die.
  • 3000-8000 Red chins per trip. If you arent using any summoning monsters, you will only need about 3000 red chins per trip.
If you are using a terrorbird, around 4000 per trip. Tortoise, 5000-6000 per trip, and if you have a packyack, bring about 8000 red chins. FYI, you are supposed
to fill your familiars with prayer potions :).
  • Archer ring. This is very useful :)

    Inventory
Assuming you have all the items above, this is what your inventory should look like.
  • If you have a terrorbird, bring 4 ranging potions (4), Tortoise, bring 5 ranging potions (4), pack yack bring 7.
  • Monkey greegree (not the zombie one, it doesnt let you run)
  • Varrock teleport tablets
  • 3-5 sharks
  • 1 bunyip pouch, and 1 extra Beast of burden (if you have summoning)
  • Tireless run scrolls if your using a terrorbird
  • 1 summoning potion (summoning only)
  • Beast of burden filled with prayer potions, and your inventory filled with prayer potions

    Requirements

Here are the stats that you need minimum to do this, I reccoment much higher
  • 55 Ranged ,80+ Ranged. You will recieve the most exp per hour around 95 ranged, but you will be waising
your money if you throw the chins at anything lower than 80 ranged.
  • 43 Prayer ,70+ Prayer. The higher your prayer, The longer the trip, and the less prayer pots you will use.
  • 52 Summoning for a terrorbird ,67, 96 Summoning for a toroise, or packyack, and 67 for a bunyip. Summoning is very useful for this.
You can have a terrorbird hold your potions, and when it runs out, summon a Bunyip to heal you while you throw chins.
  • Ability to go to ape atoll with a monkey greegree

    how to get there
There are several ways to get to ape atoll, but i chose this way. I cant be bothered posting 8 ways to get there lol.

    How To Do It :)

    Tips and tricks
  • If you want fast exp, use eagle eye, you will use a lot more prayer potions, but only use it if you are going for speed, not saving money
  • While you are red chinning, you will notice that when you kill the moneys, bones appear. That is very useful in increasing your total exp per hour
because you can altar the spawn rate of monkey and nearly quadruple it. When the monkeys drop the bones, if you ahve the inventory space, pick up
any bones that drop on top of each other, and spread them out. IF you do this, a monkey will spawn on that bone within 2 spaces of where you are standing.
If you have 1 pile of 20 bones, you will only get one monkey for the pile, but if you make 20 piles of 1 bone, you will get 20 monkeys.
  • Another thing you can do to get your started quickly after taking a break or logging out. There are bones around the dungeon when you first go there.
There are 3 spawns of bones. If you fill your inventory with bones, and drop them under the bridge of where you kill the monkeys, after you kill the first
monkey when you start out, when you get them to spawn, you will get as many monkeys as bones as you collected, causing you to go from starting
with 3 monkeys, to 10+ monkeys in less than 1 minute. Saving you a lot of supplies when you start out.
[note] this only works when you have a lot of inventory spaces free.

Change that ugly yellow font out while you can, will edit in further comments after reading (That blue is much much better!)

I've still got this off an old thread -

Chin/Exp information provided by Lopelurag

70 - 80:
Average # Used 6263 chins
Average exp per chin = 199 exp per chin
Average exp per hour = 236.5k exp an hour

80 - 90:
Average # Used 13107 chins
Average exp per chin = 256 exp per chin
Average exp per hour = 304k exp per hour

90 - 99:
Average # Used 29813 chins
Average exp per chin = 257 exp per chin
Average exp per hour = 306k exp per hour

Other than that, I've seen some convincing excel charts on tip.it that imply that using Eagle Eye gives you a better exp:gp ratio despite the extra prayer drain. Also, bring a holy wrench/enhanced excalibur for prayer boost/healing
