Part 2 - "Tank" Method*Note: The tank method does not work 100%, but it does indeed work quite well*
The setup and inventory:
*Note: You can also add in a bunyip pouch and some scrolls if you wish, the scrolls allow you to eat raw fish, which they drop*
See Explanation below

Guthans - to heal
Wealth - Not sure, i always bring
d boots + gloves str + def bonuses
glory - its that or fury
Skillcape - pray bonus (firecape works too)
Prayer potions - for range prayer
Food - in case guthans fails
Part 3 - "Damage" Method*Note: This is the more common method, but i've tested both and you get less kills this way*
See explanation below

*Note: You can also add in a bunyip pouch and some scrolls if you wish, the scrolls allow you to eat raw fish, which they drop*
D'hide - can be substitited for karils or other colors of dragonhide (i prefer saradomin for mage def + pray bonuses)
Zamorak Spear - can be substituted for any weapon with a crush ability
Wealth - i always bring
barrows gloves - str and def bonus
snakeskin boots - mage bonus
skillcape - pray bonus (firecape works too)
Prayer potions - range prayer
food - for mage damage taken
Part 4 - How to FightOkay, so we'll start with the weapon
The most effective attack style on them would be crush, so try to take a weapon with a crush attack (tank method, guthans has it, otherwise zamorak spear, saradomin sword, godswords have it)
Armor
For tank method, you're good to go, for damage method you want to max your mage defense bonuses
To fight, go there, pray range, and fight them using crush style, what to take will all be explained below
Inventory:
-1 click tele (for obvious reasons)
-Anti dragon shield (for running past the dragons, wear it to start)
-Slayer gem (if on task)
-Prayer potions (for prayer)
-Food (just in case)
*NOTE: this is simply an example for inventory, things can be changed*
Part 5 - DropsThe drops i usually take (i drop the italicized ones if something better comes along)
If there is a *, read the info below
Adamant chainbody, Blue Charm, Clue Scroll, Crimson Charm, Gold Charm, Green Charm, Mithril ore (noted), Ranarr Seed, Raw Lobster*, Raw Shark**, Rune med helm, seaweed (noted), Shark (food), Snape grass (noted),
staff of water, Uncut sapphire (noted),
water battlestaff, water orb (noted)
*Only take this if you have bunyip (if you get sharks, use them first)
**Only take this if you have bunyip
Part 6 - ConclusionIN conclusion, waterfiends are an amazing source of crimson charm drops, In 100 kills, i have received 87 crimson charms, just to give you a good idea
They also have some nice other drops, and sometimes you may make money, sometimes you may lose money, but either way, you always get a nice amount of blue charms
