Welcome to Keiga's High Level Guide to Saradomin Godwars!




Introduction: Lets go over the minimum requirements first.

60 Strength or 60 Agility to get to the entrance. (70 Agility is required to get into Saradomon's Encampment)
Climbing boots/Rock climbing boots (12 coins / 75,000 coins respectively from Freda) or 2 Fire runes and 2 Law runes for the Trollheim Teleport spell (on the normal spellbook).<--A Trollheim Teletab can be used as well.
Defeated Dad in the Troll Stronghold quest if you plan on walking or completion of Eadgar's Ruse (Troll Stronghold needed) if you plan on using Trollheim teleport.

Recommended stats include:
90+ Attack, Strength, and Defense
95 Prayer(with curses unlocked)
96 Herblore(Overload)

The equipment, inventory, and abilities:



You can use alternate equipment, here is a list of alternate items you could use:

Helm: Tetsu > Torva full helm > Bandos helmet > Barrows helm > Helm of neitiznot
Body: Tetsu > Torva platebody > Bandos chestplate > Barrows platebody
Legs: Tetsu > Torva platelegs > Bandos tassets > Barrows platelegs
Weapon: Drygore > Chaotic Maul > (Z, S, B, A) Godsword > Chaotic longsword >Chaotic rapier
Offhand: Off-Hand Drygore>Chaotic Shields > Spirit shields > Off-hand chaotic longsword > Off-hand chaotic rapier
Boots: Steadfast boots > Torva boots > Bandos boots > Dragon rider boots > Dragon boots
Gloves: Automaton Gloves > Goliath gloves > Torva gloves > Bandos gloves > Dragon rider gloves
Aura: Penance aura > Reverence aura (any tier) > Vampyrism aura (any tier)
Cape: Skill cape(any) > Tokhaar-kal > Fire cape > Soulwars cape
Amulet: Saradomin's whisper > Amulet of fury > Amulet of glory
Ring: Ring of wealth > Berserker ring (i) > Third Age Circuit > Berserker ring > TokKul-Zo > Ring of life
Ammo: Saradomin Arrow
Familiar: The Pack Yak can be filled with Overloads and Renewal Potions if you want a longer trip, or Rocktails if you want to be safe. If you cannot use a Pack Yak then use a Unicorn or an Elemental Titan. A War Tortoise is not required as Saradomin requires little to no food.

If you get the killcount inside the Saradomin Encampment the Zamorak followers will not attack you.

Thanks for showing me this guide and getting me to go to sara
Small things to note:
Bone crusher and soul split = never having to even move(hence 1300 kc in above image, no food or pots or familiars were used at all during the trip)
Zil is weak to water mage so it might be more effective than meleeing her(was there for ~13 hours and not a single person I saw was meleeing her)
I'd recommend using ice barrage/blood barrage and using magic, you heal and get tons of minion kills, its arguably as fast or faster than melee(at least w/o drygores)
Also there's currently a bug where your mainhand damage and offhand damage are combined for both if using different spells (ie if your main hand does 800 damage and your offhand does 400, both attacks will do 1200 instead)

This guide was made prior to the upgrades to magic, and is based off then. I can assure you, melee out kills mage 90% of the time. I myself have not had a single kill stolen by a mage. Drygores are as well not recommended if you have a Chaotic Maul due to chaotic maul hitting the minions as well. As for Bonecrusher, I do not have one so I am unable to test that out :P but it does sound logical that it'd help with prayer if you have the right auras, so thanks for that information :)

Also, would like to mention congratz on the hilt! I've done over 5k kc solo so far and have yet to get a hilt :(

tyvm :P think I ended up w/ just over 2k kc there when I stopped
bonecrusher/demon horn restores ~400 prayer per kill, more if you kill the minions more than once per zilyana. will have to try out melee there after I'm done @ automatons now
