General Price Guide.
Needless to say, not every single person will pay or do work at these ratios, but the majority will.
With a little common sense you can use this Price Guide to figure out what you should be paying for certain jobs.
There isn't a price for everything, but feel free to post it if it's not here so I can make some additions.
Remember that the supplies, gear, locations, levels, and the user depend on your ratios. IE the better your levels/location, the less you should be paying.
Keep in mind, with the release of free trade, prices have risen.Current Gold ratios:1fg:12,000-15,000 is the current range.
However, to be more precise, 1fg:12,000-14,000.
Agility:This can be done a number of ways.
The most commonly used way is doing Gnome Stronghold until you are about level 35.
Regardless the cost still goes for a ratio of 1fg:200-500 exp.
After that is it best to use Brimhaven for a while which you can either pay by exp or tickets.
The ticket price is usually 1fg:2 tickets depending on your agility level,
And the exp price is about 1fg:500 exp.
This price doesn't normally go more than 1fg:700 exp no matter where you train your agility.
Construction:Construction can be very easy if you have the right items and know what you are doing.
The majority of the people are willing to pay 1fg:1k exp until level 33.
Ratios after that can range from 1fg:2,500 exp up to 1fg:4,000 exp.
Herblore:Since this skill is very easy and simple to do, assuming all the items are supplied, the ratio starts off at 1fg:750 exp ratio ( Level 9 herblore).
And around level 40 it will be 1fg:1,000-2,000 exp from then on.
If you want a ratio of fg:1k pots made, you'd be looking at about 45fg:1k.
FarmingPlenty of ways to do this but if you know what you are doing you will pay/receive 1fg:300 exp exp as payment.
Doing Vine-sweeper will help majorly as long as no points are spent until level 40+.
For those under the level of 40, many people will throw a ratio of 1fg:200 exp at you.
Nothing wrong with that since this skills take patience.
HunterThe number one ratio seems to be 1fg:750 exp. That is all you will ever really see after level 30 just about.
Before level 30, expect a fairly high ratio due to the slowness of the skill.
Red Chins:Level 60 - 1fg:1-1.5
Level 70 - 1fg:2-2.5
Level 80 -1fg:3-3.5
Level 90 - 1fg:4-4.5
Level 99 - 1fg:6-6.5
Note: Having minced meat will help.PrayerDone in the 100's or by 1000's usually with dragon/frost bones.
Dragon -No gilded alter - 1fg:750 exp
Frost - 1fg:1,875 exp
Dragon- Gilded alter 1fg:1,500 exp
Frost- 1fg:3,750 exp
Yes, the gilded alter gives a 350% but the process is longer.
Any bone by 1,000 not via alter is: 80fg
Any bone by 1,000 via alter is: 100fg
Infernal ashes are really the only ashes with doing.
No alter - 700exp: 1 fg
With an alter - 1,400exp:1fg
RunecraftingAnywhere from 1fg:100- 400 exp is what you are looking for.
The more costly ratio's are f2p ofc and the higher ratios are for graahking or ZMI alter.
SlayerDepending on gear and stats, this will go for 1fg:100-350 exp.
SummoningJust about the most simple skill there is, which means a great ratio of 1fg:2,000 exp all the way.
But, some controversy says that since the exp is so different depending on what level you are, it should be done by fg:trips made.
So, the ratio for that is 1fg: 3 trips if running and 1fg:4 if doing kyatt method. May change by + or -1 trip
Bursting Charms-- Gold Charms - 1fg:4
- Green Charms - 1fg:3
- Crimson Charms - 1fg:2
- Blue Charms - 1fg:1
Collecting charms via slayer or combat( exp is separate:- Gold: 1 Fg:3 Golds.
- Green: 1 Fg:2 Greens.
- Crimson: 1 Fg:1 Crimson.
- Blue: 2 Fg:1 Blue.
DungeoneeringThe base price of this skill, since it is very slow in the beginning is 1fg:50-100 xp.
1fg:100-150 is a good price to look for at about level 40. Then a 1fg:200xp ratio at Level 70.
For a more detailed guide visit:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=52050441&f=276ThievingStarting ratio of 1fg:300-500 exp.
For people using pyramid plunder with high thieving you can easily get over 100k exp per hour which means you'll be getting about 1fg:1k+ if you're at least 60 thieving.
But, since this is a very "slow" skill, people will most likely offer no more than 1fg:750 exp.
The following skills are most commonly paid at the same ratio:Attack
Strength
Defence
Cooking
Crafting
Ranging
Smithing
Mining
Magic
Fishing
Fletching
Woodcutting
- Levels 1-40 generally consist of a 1fg:300-500 exp ratio. If you don't have either members, or have food and weapons supplied, most people will charge around 200fg because it is so time consuming.
- Levels 40- 80 usually goes for a 1fg:750-1k ratio.
- Levels 80-99 uses a 1fg:1,500 ratio most of the time but can be as low as 1,000xp:1fg as well.
If you are F2P, you will end up paying tower the higher priced ratios.
Exceptions:There are other ways of getting higher ratios though.
For example, red chins. This method is mostly used for people with 80 range and continue this until 90.
So for "chinning" the ratio tends to be 1fg:2,500 but can go up to 1fg:3,000.
Also, Ivy. This is a very easy, very fast way of gaining exp.
The usual ratio for this is 1fg:2k exp. For levels of 85+ you should get 1fg:2.5k-3k exp.
Mining gems tend not to be something most people look for but the ratio would be about 1fg:1.5k.
The same ratio applies to mining Granite.
Hint: When wearing a fully charged glory you mine gems faster.
When using Stealing creations tools it is only common sense to double the ratio( i.e 1fg:500 xp turns into 1fg:1k exp), but only for the non-combat skills.
You'll see it is hard to find someone willing to use SC armour to level your Combat skills.*If you are wanting someone to use the Fist of Guthix mini-game, the ratio is halved, causing the FG price to double.Per 1,000's( most common jobs):Wood cutting:- Regular Logs & Achey Logs - 30fg:1k
- Oak Logs - 20fg:1k
- Willow Tree - 35fg - 40fg:1k
- Maple Logs - 60 - 80fg:1k
- Yew logs - 100fg - 120fg:1k
- Magic logs - 180fg - 240fg:1k
Cooking:This applies only to fish - 25-30fg:1k cooked/burned.
Fletching:Varies from person to person but, 30fg:1k is usually what it's done at.
Firemaking:The ratio you wanna look for is 30-40fg:1k.
Smelting:- Bronze - 30fg:1k
- iron ( w.o forge) 40fg-50fg:1k bar - W/ forge 30fg:1k
- Mith bars - 40fg:1k
- Adamant bars - 50fg:1k
- Rune bars - 60-70fg:1k
Runecrafting:50-55fg:1k Natures
Crafting:Picking flax may not have to do with crafting, but spinning is.
For picking and spinning the rate is 20-25fg:1k so to pick and spin 1,000 flax is 40-50fg:1k
Fishing:- Shilo Fly Fishing is about 15 - 20fg:1k feathers used.
- Barb Village is slightly high at a rate of 25-30fg:1k feathers used.
- Tuna ( this can be done via barb fishing but only until a certain fishing level) 40 -50fg:1k
- Lobster - 80fg - 120fg:1k
- Swordfish - 135fg - 155fg:1k
- Monk fish - 75fg - 100fg:1k
- Shark - 175fg - 240fg:1k
Mining:- Essence - 15fg - 20fg:1k
- Pure Essence - 20fg - 25fg:1k
- Iron - 35fg - 55fg:1k
- Coal - 80fg - 120fg:1k
- Gold - 50 - 70fg:1k
- Mithril - 130fg - 150fg:1k
- Adamant - 200 - 240fg:1k
- Rune - 1fg:1 ore
Magic:- Teleports - 25fg:1k
- Alching - 50fg:1k
- Curses - 35fg:1k
- Stringing - 80fg:1k
- Bursts - 350 -500fg:1k
Mini-game jobs:Fist of Guthix:Depending on whether you are f2p/p2p and depending on your combat level,
this can be anywhere from 1fg:2 - 10 tokens.
Completely depends on the variables stated in the first paragraph.
Fighter Torso:You need 375 points in each role to get this. 100fg-150fg per role.
The lower your stats, the more you pay.
Fire Cape:Depends solely on the player.
The better your stats, the less you pay.
This price ranges from 500fg - 1, 500fg.
Bronze - Dragon defender:The typical amount ofl FG paid for this is 400fg.
If you don't already have at least 700 tokens in each type you will need to pay for this also which will more than likely be an additional 100fg.
Pest Control:Combat levels under 100 will be paying 1fg:1-2 points.
Combat level over 100 will be paying 1fg:2-3 points.
Soul wars:Games last 20 minutes and you must participate or you will be kicked out until the next round.
5fg-8fg:1 point is what you want to look for on this mini-game.
Mobilizing Army:Roughly 3-5fg per rank.
Obviously a person either needs to be trusted or you need to supply the points needed to obtain the goal rank.
Stealing Creations:Priced at 1fg:1 points usually.
You'd be lucky to get any better. However, some people do 1fg:1.5-2 points if all skills are level 80+. It is still rare though.
Quest Prices! These prices have been slightly altered from several Quest service threads previous to the Free Trade update.
So, the price could be off, but not by too much ( around 5-15%).
