i'm reading the stand at the moment, stephen king ofc... once i finish it i think im gonna check out the dvd... the book is amazing

The book was definately good (hope your reading the extended version, its better). The dvd is crap don't bother.

Yeah, I'm reading the extended version. I'm about half-way finished with it right now. My wife got me into Stephen King's books. Sadly, we rented the DVD. She said it was good, I watched it up to about where I am in the book. It was "ok" for a low budget movie but obviously the book depicts the story a lot better.



I'm starting on that series after I finish The Stand. My wife has read all of his books except that series so I figured I would read it. She said that she heard they were pretty good, is this true? (Assuming it is since your'e on the 7th)
