Ive tried doing it before and gosh darn it I'm doing it again. But this time. Im going....
All the way !
Join me wont you.

The first rule of d2jsp 365 is the shots must be self portraits.
The second rule of d2jsp 365 is you must learn at least a little from each shot. Be sure to share what you have learned.
The third rule of d2jsp 365 is HAVE FUN.
The fourth rule of d2jsp 365 is Post one shot per day.

I have seen some amazing 365 runs around and frankly my favorite part is watching the artists get better as they shoot. I'm going to get off my lazy arse and follow this one through all the way this time. I think the best way to do so is If I had a couple people shooting with me. Only post one shot per day but be sure to put effort into it. Try some new lighting or different surroundings. Break out of your comfort level. Each day I will be posting my shot in this thread. If you would like. You can post yours here as well. If you want, make a suggestion in this thread for a weekly theme. If none are suggested I will come up with one for us/myself. As a note. No one has to use the weekly theme. Its just there to challenge your imagination. I will do my best to keep every ones Photos organized so that when the time comes I can post them all as one glorious thing.

We start tomorrow. 7/14/09

This weeks theme.
Dark and Depressing.

Just some stuff to get you inspired.

Ok, just to make sure I didn't get this wrong. You want us to take pictures of ourselves every single day during a full year and post them in here?

Oh yes. You got it quite right. If that's not something your comfortable with its understandable. Still who makes a more accessible model than yourself. It makes it approachable by anyone. If you'd like, feel free to do a regular 365 post. Its also very popular to do the same thing but with just taking a "regular" picture a day. I would just be sure to stress the point of the thing. That being to become a better photographer !

Wow this is so cool - but I don't think I would do it every single day (sometimes I just do not have the time or make time to do it). What about every couple of days? Can we still put in our photos if we don't take a photo every day?

How about making a video out of it? It looks great to see how we change and see how little, or much, we change doing a week. :)

The idea is good, but I'm lucky if I take a picture of myself every 3 months....
I just prefer to have the camera pointing away from me instead of towards me.....
Wich is was another theme :p

hhmmm....
Like from Flickr.

I doubt this will work, especially when you make it themed. It's supposed to be a shot a day, but it usually has to reflect the day or the day ahead.
Anyways, I don't think it would work.
We would all need separate threads, and the threads would eventually get old, spammed, closed etc. (The usual shit that happens here.)

To add to that, you have to remember anything you post on here will be on here FOREVER.
Ever seen those pictures people use in motivational? Where do you think they came from?

Good idea, but I don't think it would work here. :(

You can delete it, but someone could have copied it beforehand....
It can be good on a forum only for photography, but here you have to keep in mind that just any spammer/multi/scammer/etc can click on your last post, get where you just posted a picture of yourself, and use it for whatever he wants.
