Well i haven't cubed before.
Do the names have any effect on the next outcome? rare, epic and unique.
Will it always stay 3lined if its 3lined before cubing?

Yes if you cube a 3lined item it will stay 3lined so just use normal miracle cubes on 3lined items.
If it's 2lined use a premium miracle cube to have a 25% chance at making it 3lined.

As for rare, epic, and unique.

You have a chance to upgrade to the next level
ex. Say you have a rare item, if you cube it you have a chance to upgrade it to epic, and epic to unique.

As for the ranks there are 3 ranks (As far as I know you're playing EU so legendary doesn't exist yet and tier 4 does not exist for you either yet)
Tier 1 - Lvl 1-30 (Rare: 1%, Epic 1%, Unqiue 2%) <--- not too certain but I think that's how it works and I'm sure you aleady know what the %'s are.
Tier 2 - Lvl 31-70 (Rare: 2%, Epic 4%, Unique 6%)
Tier 3 - Lvl 71+ (Rare 3%, Epic 6%, Unique 9%)

Your top line will always provide the highest % it can give so say you have a tier 3 unique, the top line should be 9% str/dex/int/luk unless it's allstats which will be cut 3% and only be 6%.

Indeed BUT 9/9/9 all stats is the best ^^

However if he just get 9% on dmg/stats it will be better of current stats

uhm, for a weapon, best stats would be 40% boss, 30% PDR, and 12% total damage

Not possible on europe yet.

I would rather go for 30%boss + some stats.
... but your opinion ?
If you had like 1b for buying cubes wouldn't you try for better/other stats?
