So for the last couple weeks now I have been doing something pretty awesome. Basically, when you are at home, you load up hots and set the game to training mode, then choose whatever hero you hate the most.

After that, you start the game..then check back in around 20 minutes. The AI on your team will have won 4v5 and you get around 100k free exp. Keep doing this while you study/spend time with family/play other games and as long as you remember to keep starting new games you'll level heroes to 9 pretty quick (And get 500 gold @ level 5 and 750 @ level 9).

I've leveled almost all heroes to 9 by doing this and soon I will be starting on getting them to 10. Just thought I would share this information with you guys in case you are strapped for time with adult responsibilities but are like me and get that 'itch' to grind.

I'd rather level heroes my self, because that's how you get good at them. Even if it does take longer to do so

I have like 5 accounts that I leveled to 40 just playing free rotations of heroes so I guess that isn't something I really thought of/factored into my OP.

I would agree that it is definitely a really good idea to play every hero at least 5-6 times to understand what they can/cannot do so when you are vs them you can take advantage of their weaknesses etc.

Other than that though, this afk thing is awesome. I got tons of great diablo 3 gear while afk farming exp...and now lots of my friends are doing it too so I have more people to play d3 with.

Another pretty cool thing you can do is download "Teamviewer" on your PC and download the app on your smartphone. What this program lets you do is remote control your PC through your phone...so while you are at work/in class/at the gym you can get on your phone, type a quick 4 digit code (The ID for your PC), then click 2 buttons real fast and you'll be in another game. It literally takes less than a minute to do.

Since I got the team viewer app I have been averaging around 40-50 games per day (On days that I don't even play hots). I also bought a stimpack so as you can probably imagine I get a hero from 9 to 10 every day and a second hero roughly halfway to 10.

The only thing that kinda sucks about this is that it counts as a game played on your account....so it looks like I have 2k games played right now when I really only have around 1,000 on the account I've been focusing on these last few weeks.

your exp caps out at 2.4 mil exp though, so after that wasted unless getting gold

yeah I had a friend set up a macro and basically bot 17 hours straight (including through the night) with no breaks and he said he hit some kind of exp cap....not sure as I've never been consistent enough to do that but I can usually get a few dozen games in per day without issue.

Is this the exp cap thing you are talking about?

How do you bypass afk?

If you are in training mode you dont get flagged for afk. Easy as that. I don't even leave the fountain in my games.
