Simply put, to remove ones own topics, instead of just writing T/C and unsubscribe that topic..
Why not be able to remove it?

Pros
- People won't mistake an old topic for for a "still need" or "still selling" topic.
- The forums will be much more comprehensive for users to search in.
- Mediators don't have to delete as many topics as they do now, when they see a closed topic.

Hmm i guess you are right.. you can make a trading thread, and then delete all evidence in case you wanna scam or do a bm trade or something like that..

They could atleast do a "Request delete" function then.. so it have to go through a mediator, or that it just "pings" a mediator to close topic for you.. something like that..

That creates unnecessary more amounts of work for something so minimal.

That can also be abused.
