I feel like people trading duped gems and runes ruins the diablo 2 economy.

yeah it makes it so you can get your gear quickly but it ruins the value of items as soon as a duper gets a hold of whatever it is people want.

what do you think?

I think if it would be illegal more people would try to sell unperm as perm, it would also be extremely hard to keep track of all 'illegal' topics that would be created.

I like the idea but I don't think it actually would work

Voting no sorry

Sad to say it. But Diablo II is still in the water becouse of the dupe items.
If Blizzard wanted to remove all duped items Diablo II would be pretty much dead. I respect this game so please stop creating such threads.

I agree that duped items shouldn't be allowed, but how are you going to police it? There are people that admit their items are unperm, it will only make them say they are legit.
Though in cases of items that don't even drop (the hybrid runewords) which are clearly hacked items, those should definitely be banned because it's obvious what's going on there.
I just don't see it happening though.

^This sums it up well.

The difficulty of enforcing it would prove problematic, but let's say it actually happened. The items would simply go underground and still be available without the protection of s/a. Voting No too.

I feel you when I say it sucks being sold unperm items, but I'd have to agree with these two comments. I'm gonna have to vote no sorry.
