War of the Immortals is a free fantasy based Action MMORPG with a lot of elements not seen in your typical MMO.
Here are some of the features I can list off hand:

~ Level cap of 120.
~ Dual class availability (Lvl 90+).
~ Multi-boxing encouraged (I run 6 games at the same time).
~ Built in "Auto Potion" and "Combat Aid" systems (Used for AFK farming and other purposes).
~ Very extensive pet system (Look it up for better info on this).
~ Complex gear upgrading systems (Fortifying, Awakening, Gemming, Infusing, Starword embedding).
~ Interactive guild or "Legion" system (Members complete dailies that add resources to your Legion).
~ Vendor-style trading system.
~ Crafting systems.
~ Daily events.
~ EXP boosts.
~ PVP.

and plenty more! WOI is based on a mix between Norse and Greek mythologies, any fans of either would absolutely love this game.

This games natural trading systems would play well with JSP and forum gold in my opinion.

~ Here is my Level 95 Ranger wearing full Level 75 Soul Gear all +7 fully awakened etc. I included her bow in the pic so you can see what it looks like.



~ Gotta love my Level 94 Champion, she has full Level 75 Soul Gear too but she's not completely gemmed out and everything.



~ This is my Level 84 Harbinger also with full Level 75 Soul Gear!

I definitely feel like it is the type of game someone will really like, or really dislike. If you're trying to play by yourself it can be intimidating because there are a lot of things the game has to offer which you won't fully understand right away. Aside from that, once you get used to controlling the game and making full use of the combat aid systems it gets really fun. Like I said in the OP I run 6 games all at once when I play, 2 vendors and 4 mains (Champ, Ranger, Harbinger and Magus). I am a one man party, I complete dailies and farm all on my own. I set 3 of them to follow 1 char and activate the combat aid system on each of them, this allows me to control 1 char while the others follow and fight enemies in range automatically. Obviously making use of that many chars at once is for experienced and enthusiastic players only, but it IS an option.

That being said, the game itself has a fairly big population (even on the West server alone). I think the community would grow to be more active if D2jsp committed a subforum exclusively for WOI.

Is this game like Battle of Immortals where its 100% pay to win or 100% reliant on farming.

Everything I explain here is a testament to how great this game would be for D2jsp. There are a lot of different materials that can be gathered, gear that can be collected or created and other items that people use frequently in the game. If D2jsp allowed the WOI community to grow on it's own here, it's very possible that a lot of FG would be circulated around the market this game has to offer.



I never played Battle of Immortals so I can't really compare, but regardless, it depends on your definition of "pay to win". Like most free games, WOI has options to purchase in game currency. It's called "Zen" and it allows you to buy a wide variety of things for the game, however, I would not say it is pay to win simply because over 90% of things you can buy are attainable in game through other means (the other 10% is fashion that doesn't really benefit your characters). Granted, buying Zen and using it to purchase things can get you ahead faster than people who don't...but using money to buy Zen is not required.

On top of that, WOI has a system in place that allows players to trade their Zen for coins in game. Yes you read right, it is possible to get Zen by simply earning a lot of coins in game and trading for it. The current ratio right now is 2.2mil coins per 100 Zen.



Farming is definitely a big part of this game, however, farming is a relative term. It's possible to farm a lot of things in this game being that it has a lot of content and there are unconventional types of farming that can be done. For example, you can farm monsters for exp and materials. You can use the built in auction system to farm coin profits off of the market (ZEN CANNOT BE USED HERE THANKFULLY). You can farm high end gear, crafting and more.

I do want to point out again that this game features a built in Combat Aid system that allows you to go AFK while your characters auto fight. This allows for easy and painless farming, not to mention that it is possible to multibox the game and have multiple characters farming together.
