My suggestion is to make the Sent Copies folder options like the rest of the folders. Currently, you cannot move a message to or from the Sent Copies folder, and if you delete a message from inside that folder, it skips the Trash box and goes directly to deletion. I think that it would be better if moving was enabled, and deletion became like the other folders.

Before:

After:

This will help in the organization of messages, and prevent accidental permanent message deletion from that folder. This would also be very useful to Mediators, as, if they want to archive the messages of a large trade they have mediated (For example, the PM containing the game information), and they want to save the sent copy, they do not have to create a Sent Copies archive and one for the rest of the related messages.

Also, if a Sent Copies archive is made, it is cluttered with any other Sent Copies that the user does not want to archive at the moment, this would remove that problem. :)

Arguments for:
  • Improved Organization
  • Improved Archiving ability
  • Less messages accidentally deleted
  • As the other boxes are like it, this should be a quick change

Arguments against:
  • It would be slightly harder to tell, in SA cases, whether or not the PM was sent to the user by themself or if it was a sent copy
    • However, you can tell tell by the fact that there is no reply, or forward box in the PM screenshot, or a small icon could be added.

If you have a comment, concern or idea, please post it. :)

This functionality is as intended, for some of the reasons you stated, and others you did not. There are no plans to change the functionality of this, sorry.
