My suggestion is that when you get quoted in a thread you should get a pm notifying you with the thread link in it. I post in many threads and forget about it so if they reply to you then you wont know. I think it would be really useful for everyone.

Also should be able to turn this off or on in your account settings.

I'm not sure if it's already been suggested.

Making your suggestion work without abuse would mean changing how d2jsp works with their posts and quotes if you do not want it to be abused.

Some of the active traders would be having to clear their inbox's at a fairly constant rate. What about posts outside of trading? It seems that this suggestion would only really benefit the trading community if it was implemented due to the fact that receiving notifications whenever you're quoted would be a tad excessive. As stated above, the possibilities of abuse would be high as well.

The only possible way that I could see this working is if it had a separate tab, maybe next to the "Messages" tab. There, you could click on it (like your pm box) and review all of the responses of individuals that quoted you

Even with a disable function, I don't see the need for it. If you replied to a topic and want to easily see when someone comments after you, potentially quoting or responding to you, you can just track the topic and review it later in your topic tracker. .
