My suggestion is much like the Facebook feature, when browsing an unfamiliars profile, it will show you if you have any mutual friends.
So for instance, you're looking at XXX's profile for the 1st time ( never seen them b4 ) but you notice that XXX is already friends with 5 of the same people as you ( at least he/she has them on friendslist )

I think it'd help keep a good perspective on who are good peers and acquaintances on d2jsp.

I have no idea if this has been suggested before, I just think the simplicity and convenience of this feature could help.
Please leave any support or counter-points to the suggestion, thanks.

No from me.

Friends on here and friends on FB are totally different imo. I could care less who my mutual friends are with a jsp user.

With that being said, I could care less who some of my friends on Facebook is friends with. I have friends who travel all over the world, why do I need to know if he's a mutual friend with a foreigner I'd never meet, might not even speak the same language, etc.

I actually believe this feature would be more relevant for jsp, having transactions and such on the line. Knowing if someone has a mutal friend as me only boosts my confidence.

People are too friend happy on this website. Someone being on someone elses friends list does not make me trust them any more.

Am I supposed to trust everyone on Paul's list since he's friends with them?? http://forums.d2jsp.org/index.php?act=Friends&i=245

Yes from me.

Wouldn't you want to be able to see who your friends are friends with? Like a background check.

A better argument would be, not to emulate Facebook, because whether you like it or not;
