I believe this feature will stop a lot of spam. The reason for this is self-explanatory. We already have a feature to block PMs. Moderators will be able to override this feature of course. I do not see any cons here. This can work together with the block PM feature. If you vote "No" please explain why you think it is a bad idea.

no

if someone spams , report them , if they continue, contact a member of the staff that moderates that section . As always, do not respond to spam
How would it feel for me to create a topic in the s/a and have the accused blocked? (just one example )

This can be done for all forums but the s/a. I make bold/red title topics and most of the time they get filled with unwanted spam. I pm a moderator and if he/she decides to take action its usually just a warning via pm. Regardless of what the moderator decides to do, the spam is still there in my paid thread. I can link the last 50 paid topics here in this thread and all of them will have spam on them.

1.

there would be no point in Trade moderators/Moderators

2.

spammers will block Trade moderators/moderators from being in there topic so they wont be able to close it

I mentioned in the first post that moderators will be able to override this feature. It will not affect them. Also this will make a moderators job ALOT easier.

Which is still spam and not allowed. If you do not feel safe trading with a user, a mediator should be contacted.
