Being an artist, I hate having to limit myself to a certain size.

400x150 is DECENT. 400x180 or so would be way better.
The 72kb limit is just dumb. .jpeg compression ratios make art look low quality. I save everything in .png, and its really hard to get it under 72kb to conform to jsp's rules.

it is 72 right? it's been a while since I've been here, just came back like 2 weeks ago.

anyway, as an artist I would love to have the limits fixed. I understand that it could lengthen loading times, but that won't matter if you only bump it a little bit.
if people are paying a lot of fg for their new signature, they shouldn't have to buy a low quality image.

Thanks.

if you bump it a little and everyone gets bigger sigs, yes, that would increase load times.

I have seen some very talented graphic artists come through jsp and they have been able to work within those constraints flawlessly
No offense, but you current sig is nothing special and would look just as average as a jpg image

part of being an artist/designer is being able to work with what you have, and this size limit is what you have to work with

if people are buying low quality images, they shouldn't be paying alot of fg. And if you cannot work with the limits then you are a bad gfx artist.

It really isn't though. It limits creativity.

Whatever.
