Guild Leader or people with access to such things should be able to send a Guild Wide pm to announce events and such because not everyone reads Guild Topics etc. This would save time and trouble with pming each member individually.

Too much opportunity for abuse. The guild leader should pin a notice in the guild topic if there is any "guild news", so I've voted no.
