This suggestion has arose from me thinking about a certain incident some people may know about, some may not.

Anyways, the gist of the story is that, a member of whom I trusted and still trust very much, got hacked, or keylogged, or bruteforced, whatever the case may be..

An intruder gained access to his account.

Because i trusted this user, i gave him the option of change ranks within the guild, so he can manage new members, change the Rank names etc, with no worries.

When the intruder was on his account, because he was able to remove ranks, he was able to give himself ALL OTHER RIGHTS - including [x] Remove members.

So the intruder bumped himself up the guild list, allowed himself to remove members, and booted EVERYONE from the guild, even members above him in guild.

My suggestion is:

Make more specific settings on the guild list.

So i can allow members in my guild to be able to change the rank names, but change allowed features like remove members, edit members etc..

If at least not that, could we make it so that we could lock [x] Remove Members, so people with change rank abilities cannot change ONLY THAT OPTION?

I wouldn't say no to more options in general, but you're better off not giving power to other people when you're the guild owner.
Just have people give you info and all that via pm, no need to let them change any settings, that's the best security you can get.

If someone gets keylogged, I'm sure damage like that is nowhere near the most harmful.

Yeah, I've only made 51 gps, how could I know the game.

And if you read what I said, no one can remove anything if you don't give them that right.

Getting keylogged has no safety measures, other than common sense.

Was on my iPhone didn't check if u had GPs.

But i WANT to give my members rights, i think it's fine that they can add members, change ranks around etc.

i just wish there was a feature so that I was the only only that could remove members, or chooses who can remove members, that isn't a feature changeable by: ' Change Ranks '

So easy and so much sense.

HUGE yes from me here. I had a problem with this a while back - I don't want to go into the long and short of it, but basically there was a user who climbed in the ranks in my guild and then as soon as he got high enough to edit ranks the first thing he did was give himself 100% of the permissions and moved himself to the second-highest rank. Luckily, he didn't kick anyone and we booted him from the guild after that. But anyways, I've thought about this before but never made a suggestion for it.

Very good suggestion in my eyes, I can't see anything wrong with adding more safety measures :) you should attach a poll and I'll vote yes

So, what your saying is similar to this:

I'm not really sure I understand because this throws me off a little bit:

Is there suppose to be a "can't" in there? I'll come back to check an update with this.
