I see a ton of suggestions added all the time only for them to be closed right after because they did not add a poll to their thread.

So I have to ask.. Why is there even a "New Topic" button in the Site Suggestions section?

Would make it so that they need a poll, which is required to begin with for one.
Would save the Mod Team from constantly closing posts and linking to the topic on how to create a Site Suggestion.
Would make it so we don't see the same thing being suggested 10 minutes later only in poll form.
With there not being a 'New Topic' button, no one would be posting in the Site Suggestions instead of General Help where they meant to as the New Poll is quite the difference to the New Topic button.

Personally I don't see tons of new suggestions here.
They can also add a poll after.

Make it look a little different from the New Topic template possibly as well.



Most get moved to the General Help section if someone is on at the time. Not many that get left in the Suggestions thread unless it's already answered or something that would be ignored to begin with because it's against some rule, in which case it gets locked. Buy they are somewhat commonly posted in the Site Suggestions thread. This would also help with lowering the threads needing to be moved to General Help
