I just feel this gives off the wrong vibe. This was just changed within the last 24 hours.

In my eyes donor fits more for a site as d2jsp than customer. For a site where you only have the possibility to buy something, customer would be fine.
But on jsp you don't have only this kind of person, it's a community and you have also people who donate to the site to show their support, without anything in return. (so a donor)
I don't like/want to be "called" customer, so you have my yes.

the change imo is dumb, you'd have to pm the top "customers" though and ask them their opinion, because they're the ones paying for it

Donors looked way more better than Customers because really those users did Donate.

I'd rather be called a "Donor" instead of "Customer".

This site is not, nor has it ever been a charitable organization, and as such, everything paid is and always has been a purchase, not a donation. Using terms such as donations and Donors is confusing, and is being corrected where necessary. If a different synonym for Customer (such as Patron) is preferred, I am open to such suggestions, but will not be changing it back to a term that is not applicable.

edit: Other vague terms such as "Supporter" are also not going to be used. The avoidance of ambiguity is important, which is why Customer was chosen. It fits 100% in line with what it has always been both technically and literally.
