Yes. it's a pain having to search for the core/ladder in every post. Even more annoying when someone forgets to post what they're in.
I've posted in a couple dozen Hard Core threads thinking they were softcore the last couple weeks. It's a mess in the classic areas. I believe that would be the reason it's so dead as well. Look at how many Crushers offering services are on East Xpac Ladder. I've only seen 2 of the people offering Crushes even post in the Classic threads beyond buying their basic gear.
