Problem: It takes some doing to find out if there is a friend request. At the moment, I have to check my profile section, then scroll down just to determine whether I have or not a friend's request. Often I just forget about checking this out, which means I may miss out on connecting with new friends.

Solution: To relocate the Manage Friends link to the header section and to remove the word Manage. Here's how it may look like. Note that the number may turn to bold setting upon a friend's request:

Have to admit that with the few friends request I have and my small profile page, its no big deal to go look if there's a new friend request. But I can't think of any cons with that suggestion nor think of how this could be hard work to put in place.
