Even with the appropriate linked thread and the physical confirmation of the FG, it isn't enough to cut out a mediator.
Somebody still has to send FIRST, and because of this people can still claim to have gotten items or claimed to have given them without actually having done so.
Your idea would prevent (like you said) people claiming that they received FG as strictly a donation /not being associated with a trade (assuming a thread was attached to the FG they can't deny this), and possibly aid in getting scammers locked. However it could make it even harder to get scammers locked. Say somebody didn't attach a thread. The system wouldn't just revert back to how it was, but now the burden of proof would be on the scammed even more-so- using the argument: "You failed to attach a thread, you're shit out of luck." But isn't that already the way mediators work?
I think the option of adding a link when sending FG would be helpful, but I disagree it would make getting scammed indisputable like you claim..
