I talked with some friends (some are NOT in my guild) and we had a nice idea.
My guild got a guild chat topic for the slashers only so only members with a slasher rank can see and post in this topic.
We got some friends in others guilds and it would be great when they could post in our chat topics but we don't want to make this topic public.

So my suggestion is:
add something like a adress book to each guild topic where you could add users who are allowed to read/post in your topic but who aren't in your guild.

i am one of the guys he is talking about... i left a pin'ed post in their ls guild topic for my glyphing iso.

so he had to make it public to let me post. and then he had to make it private again. if i want to edit it... same procedure again -.-

I totally agree with this.

There should be an option if you set to "public", to "block" certain people from posting there.

And there should be an option if you set to "private", to "allow" certain people to post there.
